December '22 Monthly Update

Jack Langen '24

Jan 5, 2023

Read about academic achievement and a year well spent.

This December, we wrapped our semester and put a bow on 2022. We had a lot of fun and can look back proudly on this year. In August, we received our 13th straight Peterson Significant Chapter Award, the highest award granted to an undergraduate chapter. Additionally, brother Lou Langen was recognized as a finalist for the International Balfour Award, the annual award for Sigma Chi's most outstanding graduating senior.

The Zeta Psi Chapter is also proud to announce its annual GPA as 3.46 - a consistent University high. Additionally, this Fall's pledge class consisted of 34 new members. Though we can boast of the 10/15/22 pledge class's size, we are even more excited about their composition, believing they truly reflect our value in men of varying temperaments, talents, and convictions.

We have a lot to be excited about in 2023. Our brothers look forward to the completion of housing renovations in the summer of this year. We believe this $3+ million project will help drive academic and social success and promote brotherhood. We'd like to thank the Housing Corporation and the help of our alumni in making this a sustainable initiative.
